Syndica is a Solana-native RPC operator with strong validator relationships. Less famous than Helius, less expensive than Triton, frequently the right answer when you've outgrown shared-tier but aren't ready to write a check to Triton.
What you get
- Standard Solana RPC with low-latency dedicated tier
- Yellowstone gRPC (the same Triton stream, supported here too)
- ChainStream — Syndica's branded streaming product for real-time data
- Strong infra in multiple regions, geographic load balancing
Pricing
Free tier exists with a meaningful request quota. Paid plans are typically less expensive than Triton at comparable performance levels. Has public pricing on the website (refreshing).
When Syndica is right
- "Better than shared, cheaper than Triton." Production apps with real traffic that need consistent latency without enterprise pricing.
- You want gRPC streams. Syndica supports the Yellowstone protocol — same client code as Triton.
- Validator-aligned tooling. Syndica operates validators; their RPC stack is validator-aware.
When Syndica is wrong
- You need Helius-class data products. Syndica's RPC is excellent but they don't compete with Helius on DAS, NFT API, webhooks.
- You need the absolute lowest latency. Triton still wins the p99 race for the highest tier.
